2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI decided to do another poll, this time at the mall
and I was especially interested in collecting enthusiasm data.
Here's what I found.
80% of the people I asked were voting for Hillary.
20% either ignored me, or said "Lady, I'm just trying to shop here."
As far as enthusiasm with the Hillary voters,
10 people were willing to give me a high five.
5 people smiled.
2 people asked me if I was a real pollster.
1 asked me for directions to a store.
Nobody was willing to do jumping jacks on camera, except a four year old who also did summersaults and sang me a song as well.

(1,779 posts)how can we replicate your methods? Maybe on table with both Trump and Clinton boxes, etc.
Any suggestions?

(5,184 posts)Percentages can be very deceiving - I prefer raw numbers until the size of the sample is large - like over 1000.

(25,260 posts)Giving us all a poll we can believe in, the best poll ever! We can all hope the 20% are shopping instead of voting on election day.
Keep up the good work.
