Poor woman has to deal with that slime all day every day.
She deserves a month on some tropical island after this is over.

(33,090 posts)She was on fire and took that Kingston creep apart. Joy Reid did as well. Can't believe MSNBC let two of their on-air personalities go against a Trump surrogate. They owned his ass.

(40 posts)It was a pleasure watching Kingston backed into a corner that he couldn't verbally get out of for a change. Chris needs to do more on the job training of what it means to get to the answers. No wiggle room, no set ups for an alternate explanation, no abdicating responsibility, no role playing, etc.. Sometimes I don't know why I like Chris and sometimes I know exactly why. This was one of those times.

(995 posts)It was one of the best segments I've ever seen on a network news program. They literally humiliated him with the facts.

(90,755 posts)Wouldn't let him talk over them and be rude. BOTH Katy Tur AND the incomparable and gutsy and brilliantly well-informed Joy Reid held their own and did not let him talk over OR take over. I don't think it was meant to be a double-teaming on him, but that's how it turned out.
The Jerk du Jour: George ex-CONgressman mouth-breather Jack Kingston - who DESERVES to be stomped on by female reporters wearing nice sharp spike heels.

(135,425 posts)That assignment was made when the Big Names were all clamoring for Jeb! or Ted or Marco.
The newbies and schmucks got the fringy Trump and Kasich and Carson!
Then, by the time they realized Trump was digging in and gaining ground, it was too late. She was part of the entourage, she knew the players, and she had the credentials from the Trump machine. Other players weren't going to get in. They have to sit on the sidelines.
She will owe her career to Trump if she doesn't trip up. He has allowed her to take a MASSIVE shortcut. That's some huge irony, right there!

(13 posts)It a great story. She had almost no experience was buffaloed by Trump in the beginning and has been there from the start with interviews, footage and plenty of face time with Chump!! I want to read the book, I want to see the documentary. I'm all in on anything she produces that documents this Trumpster fire!! I just hope she has a good producer and go in-depth and produces a quality historical document.

(1,140 posts)She is right in there with Miss Reid. In the last few weeks I've realized that she was the reporter escorted out of one of Trumps rallies. My hat is off too her. She has felt the fear. Her responses and insight have impressed me. Miss Reid's responses have impressed me. They are good. In fact, they (either one) would be better for the country than Drump. Anything else I have to say goes down hill with regards to Drump. May she rise to the top.

"By Election Day, I'll have lived out of a suitcase for a year and a half, swearing by the lifesaving powers of dry shampoo and the magic ability of scarves to make the same coat look new. Following Trump to city after city, I've made more than 3,800 live television appearances and visited more than 40 states. I've also endured a gazillion loops of Elton John's "Tiny Dancer," a staple of Trump's rallies."
