Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are just selfish idiots

out to help trump.

Eff them.

Don't kid yourself here, if you aren't voting for Hillary, you are voting for deplorable, disgusting, demoralizing Donald tRump.

Don't be that jerk that let a potential deplorable don presidency happen.

This is no time for games. Our civil rights, our equal rights and our very sanity is on the line.

"third party" candidates, and that is that they never try to build up from the grassroots.

If, in some totally bizarro world, Stein or Johnson were to be elected to the Presidency, they would have zero members of their respective parties in Congress. How exactly would they expect to accomplish anything?

If the Greens or the Libertarians were to elect people to city council, to state government, I'd have a lot more respect for them, even though I would still not agree with their aims. But nope. They go straight to the top, with zero understanding of how our system works. Which is really unbelievable with Johnson, given that he was a Governor of a state, and so should actually understand all this. Has he simply gotten very stupid in recent years?

They do have some people here and there at municipal and county levels, but as far as I can tell their handful of state-level winners switched to "independent". In 20 years they have next to nothing, and have too often been willing take money from conservatives and play spoiler, letting ever-nuttier Republicans win.

Sanders was incomparably more effective in just a year and a half. But then, Bernie has been an effective public servant for over half-again that time, at city, state, and federal levels. And he knows who to work with in order to be effective.

At least the ganja-tarians were elected to something bigger than class hall monitor, I guess.

But yeah - voting third party with THIS deplorable asshole looming on the horizon makes you just as deplorable as his KKK followers.

Third party candidates have been around for a long, long time. Gary Johnson will likely take more votes from Drumpf than Jill Stein will take from HRC. Neither will have the impact former third party candidates like Wallace and Perot had. The vehement anger against both has been the weirdest part of this race for me.

Hillary is going to win book it.

That we have no choice left to us but the preserver of the status quo is sad, but it's what the powers want. And DU, just like the media, is nothing but a shit show while the real issues go undiscussed.

and start thinking that the ways a democratic president let them down are just as bad as a republican.

then they live through at least 8 years of a republican and remember why we prefer democrats

most of these liberals have very little to personally lose in an election. They are hardly ever minorities and or people living in states where Democrats have not already secured a lot of their rights.
