Our nominee has a minor case of pneumonia, so she needs a couple of days off.

(15,429 posts)I cannot tell you the number of times I powered through an illness to meet deadlines and keep the work flowing because it was simply a common occurrence that happened so many times during my career. I would occasionally take a break and work from home, but showing my face was always important.
It's ten times worse for minorities and women in high level positions, too.

But, Uni health care is a pipe dream, and a high min wage ... meh.
