2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI was huge for Bernie, and I still love him. But I have to say...
I was never so delighted to see Hillary looking perky and back on her game as I was this past week after her bout with pneumonia.
WILD HORSES couldn't keep me from voting for her come November!!!
I'm also working on all my voting family members. I live in Florida and am absolutely determined to round up every vote possible to keep that orange cocksplat out of our White House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(92,370 posts)I just hope my fellow Bernie-loving friends here are also ready to go the distance to help keep this mortal enemy of American values and decency-- I can't even say his UGLY name!!-- from EVER having any say in our lives.
He needs to be beaten so badly that he never wants to show his face again in this country.

(1,604 posts)I see Hillary signs side by side with well weathered Bernie signs locally. Bernie supporters are dedicated and persistent. They'll bring a lot to Hillary's campaign. Hopefully he'll be offered a decent cabinet position.

(7,004 posts)That can only happen if Hillary wins. I hope his supporters take that into account.

(58,785 posts)You know, we really need a national election day holiday. Among other things, voting together could become a family tradition.

(3,115 posts)It's such an important part of American life... We should all cherish it and lovingly pass the torch from generation to generation. It would boost turnout as well.
But somehow, Tuesday in the middle of the work week doesn't exactly make for much holiday tradition...

(58,785 posts)develop around it. How foolish and strange that we haven't done this. We need a movement!
Maybe see ya here November 8, the 9th for sure!
