Since the Great Depression, we've fallen into this pattern where a Republican pushes the country to the brink of utter disaster and chaos, and along comes a Democrat to pull the country back on its feet. Not this time folks.
For example, Trump with a Republican congress will overturn Obamacare throwing millions of Americans off of insurance. There's no guarantee that they will raise the debt ceiling which will destroy our economy. He may use nukes because some leader mocked him.
I thought that W. was the dumbest person ever elected president, and he would be terrible at the job. I was more right than what I thought. But Trump? I would vote for W 1,000 times before I vote for Trump. To even seriously consider him for president has already done great damage to this nation.

We haven't fully recovered from W. Look at where we were in 2000 compared to now.

(67,108 posts)considers his supporters total losers as he uses them for fodder to try to get the WH.
I seriously think WW III could develop. For the majority of Americans the US will likely be a dystopia. I also think we could see refugees from America seeking solace in other countries.
Countries sometimes change overnight. I think this is potentially the most dangerous times I've lived in America. It's damn freaky, almost like a Twilight Zone episode.
I also think there could be general warfare in the streets as groups vying for power erupt, and Trump then turns America into a police state. People need to realize they're dealing with dictator material with Trump. And he doesn't play with a full deck!

(3,427 posts)If Trump is President, Republicans will have no problem raising the debt ceiling. They only care about the debt when a Democrat is President.
Regardless, he has plenty of other ways to destroy the economy.

(7,010 posts)if they don't vote for her it's her fault. So she needs to close the deal. She can do it. She's come out with more progressive policies lately, she needs to do more.
