OMG. Chuck Todd actually showed the "tightened" polls and said

"And while it is true that these polls have some QUESTIONABLE METHODOLOGIES, it does make for good headlines!" And there you have it. I never thought I would say it...but thanks Chuckie.

Man, never thought some of those dumbass would put it so clearly.

That's what I've been saying all along.
The methodology of just about all those polls are HORRENDOUS.
Complete utter garbage.

if the media had hit Trump over the past month nearly as hard as Clinton has gotten hammered, Clinton would be up 10-12 points, or more, and they'd be talking landslide and if the debate tonight was Trump's only chance to make it close.

(or their doors) when the callers were unknown.

How do these pollsters get their "samples"? Standing outside WalMart? Buttonholing riders on public transit?

I do not want to be bugged, so I never respond to pollsters.

Either before or after the fact.

Not unfortunately, I think, that they are not always the same ones.
