This is just like after the Democratic Convention and the Khan family

Trump lost several news cycles with self inflicted wounds following the Democratic Convention, and it started with him attacking a Gold Star mother, Mrs. Khan.

Today... less than 24 hours after the debate.... Donald Trump's "message of the day" is:

"Miss Universe was fat."

And his secondary message is:

"No, I'm not sick or high on coke. My microphone was tampered with."

Look for the next two weeks in the polls to look a lot like the first two weeks of August.

I'm hoping so. So far, not a lot of movement, but I know it's still early. Still, hoping Hillary gets on that campaign trail and continues to rally support and rail at tRump.
