him to regard himself as superior to everyone else. When he says, "I know more than the generals," he means it. He can't name the generals or have any idea of the depth of their knowledge, but that doesn't matter--he knows more.

It's about getting admiration and power, which he will always abuse since he sees abusing people without consequences as an appropriate use of power. This is why he admires Putin so much and also why he can only be satisfied with being more demonstrably powerful than Putin.

you finish the simile

just hilarious watching him go at it with Dan Senor, of all people, trying, as usual, to defend the indefensible, saying he wouldn't discuss the Miss Universe fiasco, then going to down and dirty town about her, claiming, among other things that Trump was justified doing/saying the things he did about her because of her weight gain, then praising Trump for all the women he employed!!!!

All those plantation owners sure employed a lot of blacks back in the day, too, didn't they?

He's a walking drunk conservative uncle running for President. We invented the Internet, and this is what it got us: Trumpism, stupidity, nonsense.

Debate preparation? Cribbing blog posts from the dumbest motherfuckers in the right blogosphere is not debate preparation, even if he had the patience to read further than a paragraph. Tell me one of his charges in the last debate that didn't come directly from a Breitbart article or right wing blog post. The man has never read a policy paper in his life. He wouldn't even know what it looked like.

He's a fucking idiot.

People need to understand that. Of course his supporters don't care, they want him to dismantle everything anyway.

They are all still trying to help him win.

I wish one of them would find some integrity and speak out publicly.

His daughter should intervene. She is the only one that at least appears to have some kind of sense.

and in the name of the world's deities may he do just that, the GOP has some serious clean-up to do.

Their presidential nominee, elected by their base, has the attention span of a 2-year old. And about the same temperament.

Trump is an ignoramus, a flaming racist, a xenophobe, a pathological liar, and an authoritarian hot-head -- a damning profile.

And he was chosen as the GOP's standard-bearer for the 2016 presidential race.

Somebody's gonna have quite a project on their desk beginning Nov. 9.

whores this cycle, from the very start of the Pukes' primary season.

No argument there.

In the past couple months, there has been some movement back toward holding Trump's surrogates accountable, but the surrogates are such robotic liars that it's tough to get a word in edgewise. Katrina Pierson, in particular, strikes me as acutely maniacal.

The debate at Hofstra this week pretty much established that Trump's personal fortune is no longer enough to grant him the hallpass the media have given him to date. And without breaking a sweat, HRC kind of cleaned his clock.

win this election, but I want a landslide -- and the Senate.

After a landslide, the GOP has to reinvent itself, which will be a grinding, exasperating, and (I hope) impossible undertaking. The nutbags are at the control panel and it's unlikely they can be talked out of power. Trump dispatched Jeb Bush with a flick of a finger.

The people likely to contend for the Pukes' nom in 2020 have names like Pence and Cruz. If Trump loses, he'll be dropped down the well of history like a sack of garbage. But if it's close, Pence and Cruz can mount a credible electoral challenge.

There have been far too many perilously close presidential elections from 1960 forward. I don't know if we can get a blue landslide out of the electoral demographic this cycle, but damn, it sure would be helpful.
