it might have been a fun "goof" or joke, but nowadays, his crowds are full of neo-Nazis and White Supremacists who beat up people at the drop of a hat.

I wouldn't feel at all safe in that kind of environment, and while I'm no action hero by a long shot, I'm not a complete chickenshit either-- but I'd be very uneasy in one of those crowds.

I can see the zoo just fine on TV, and I can change the channel with 1 click. I'm not hassling with parking and security in order to get close to that freak show.

I read an awful lot of WW II accounts and saw a lot of documentaries when I was young and impressionable in the late '50s to late '60s. In the early '80s I married a man who is the son of 2 Holocaust survivors, which carries its own weight even if nothing is ever said -- you just know. Being there in person would probably induce a panic attack.
