1. Jeb mentioned this during their debates with an air of disdain

Like, how could anyone stoop to take a pay-out from such a low-rent bounder as Trump?

Had he had better political sense he would have throttled Trump with it over and over again. The whole thing was beneath his blue blood sensibility: "this real estate trash with a $40,000 casino payoff? The whole thing is so tawdry."

The Bushes play this hail fellow well met thing, but they're essentially Connecticut blue bloods. They think Trump is trash, which is also why you don't see Dubya anywhere near him. He wouldn't piss on Trump if he was on fire.

Seems to be bribery.
