5. I would throw David Cay Johnston into that mix

he has been reporting on Trump for decades and just published a book last month on Trump's BS.
Johnston is a professor at Syracuse and I think writes for the dailybeast.

His recent book "The Making of Donald Trump" reveals an even slimier side to Trump that anyone has reported and explains how Trump has been screwing people forever.

Along with Johnston another who deserves credit is Farenthold's editor Marty Baron. Many may recall Baron as the Boston Globe editor who provided the impetus for the investigative work by the Boston Globe's Spotlight group on priest abuse in that town.

So good, so good to see gutsy reporting and true investigative work.
