Down here in Texas, a lot of Tea-publican support comes from small contractors, usually in the building traded. Admittedly Austin, Texas is an outlier for the state, but the most right-wing bumper-stickers I've seen have been on pick-ups with tool boxes on the back--the same sorts of folks that Trump has been screwing over.
