Tbh, I don't go to 538 a lot. Just now and then. I mostly go to Sam Wang's site.

And we KNOW RCP leans right so....

Can't you just be normal instead of fluctuating rapidly like a 16 year old

It fluctuates wildly -- remember, right after the RNC, when it had Drumpf leading? All it means is who would win if the election were held today. Their other two models are considerably more reliable.

I don't see it in 538 or Upshot.

But if it isn't actually blue, here's a different take on the situation.

POTUS won in 2008&12 by winning in urban areas;SE, SW & western Ohio will go for the Rs. I live in NE Columbus, & have for years, I have not had one HRC volunteer knock @ my door (& I am now unable to do door to door myself any longer). By this time last 2 elections, I had at least 3 in 2008 & in 12, 5. I am concerned that the DNC & the HRC campaign have decided to let Ohio go as the DNC did in 2000 with Gore.
I do not live in Cleveland, I strongly suspect the angry old white male blue collar workers who will never have it good (let alone ok) again will go for Trump around Cleveland city proper. Delaware Co, esp the areas closest to Columbus have alot of working women and those female voters would turn a red county purple.
I am concerned.

23. The Clinton campaign is working hard in Ohio!

The HRC campaign is working hard here in Ohio. They are all working hard to get out the vote and get every Democratic Party vote to the polls. With a little bit of luck and some help from the national party, we can even get the Senate seat and a couple US Reps, too. Ohio has been severely neglected by the national party and people will come out with a well done campaign. The national party dropped the ball in the Senate race and went dark when Ted still had a lead. The vicious lies in the ads from the Koch brothers and others against Ted hurt. Ted had no resources to respond. If the Democratic voter turnout is good, we might still turn Ohio blue this fall.

The GOP in Ohio are stealing the citizens blind. There is no media coverage of the clearly criminal and corrupt activities due to all the media in Ohio being owned by right wing sympathizers. The fact the Cincinnati Enquirer actually endorsed Hillary Clinton is shocking. IMO, it was a cynical and strategic move to help the vile Portman retain the Senate seat by trying to separate Portman from Trump.
