There was never an indictment for starters, so this remark can be chalked up a blatantly ignorant non sequitur for the "lock her up" crowd. However, by all appearances Trump himself has very rocky legal road ahead of him. Is he also requesting assurance that HE will never be pardoned if convicted? Guess I didn't hear it. That would make a whole lot more sense, but then again that would entail an admission of guilt on Trump's part. Perhaps he could (if elected God forbid) pardon himself, but since that now appears to be an unlikely scenario, the chips will need to fall as they may.
