2016 Postmortem

One of the headlines in the L.A. Times (delivered) newspaper surprised me.
The headline reads:
"New Threat to Trump's Momentum"
Doesn't that headline sound like Trump has been gaining momentum and there is now a new threat to that momentum?
I was baffled.
But then the article goes on to redefine the headline:
"The last weeks of a campaign are about building momentum and finishing strong. That is why the roughest week of Donald Trump's presidential run, one that worsened with a report that he may not have paid federal income taxes for 18 years because of a nearly billion-dollar business loss, poses a threat to his candidacy."
Is that messed up or what? Sometimes I wonder about the L.A. Times.

So I ignore headlines. They are nothing but eye bait, or click bait.
