2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSo tell me GOP, how many Pu**ies did Jesus grab?
Donald Trump is the ultimate symptom of a completely morally bankrupt PARTY, the GOP. These disgusting degenerates lie constantly just like Pence did in the debate. They are owned by the corporations and do their bidding night and day. They are largely racist, selfish, and greedy. They have given us such "gems" as Palin, Ghomert, Bachman, Cruz, Brownback, LePage, and Trump.
They stand there and claim to love Jesus and then do things night and day that would make Jesus vomit.
They are pure HYPOCRITES. Period.
And come next month, we need to make it our mission in life to completely destroy them at the voting booth. Smash them to electoral smithereens all over the country. Turn this country a very deep blue. And then maybe, just maybe, there will finally be a wake up call for them. Their day of reckoning is upon them. Let's make that happen.

(10,252 posts)We need to have a long, long discussion about morality and personal integrity. Thumping Bibles and praying in public is no substitute for personal morality. Yes the Republican party is primarily composed of racist, selfish, greedy people. I see the GOP as a vast criminal enterprise, motivated primarily by the acquisition of personal wealth by any means. Do Christians even talk about personal morality any more? I know that Christians have 10 commandments as the heart of their ethical code. But do they instill in children a deep sense of shame to even think about harming others? Do they teach about the harm of lieing, cheating, and stealing in business? I'm really quite upset about what I see from the Republican party. It is a great and severe American tragedy. I feel like our society is rotting from within because of the love of money. When do we resist criminal activity because it would make us ashamed to do so, rather than fear of getting caught and punished? When have you ever heard evangelicals talking about the Golden Rule, rather than we're all going to Hell?
I'm actually grateful to the piss-poor example of Trump's immoral behavior in so so many ways. I hope it inspires people to talk to their children about what is dignified and respectful behavior towards others. I hope parents tell their kids how ashamed they would be to learn that their kids used vulgar language and engaged in bullying and cheating.
