But Trump is not going away, or taking it quietly. In a flurry of tweets and retweets, he hammered Republicans for being offended by the idea of a commander in chief who professed on tape that he likes to grab women “by the pussy.”

14. I'm not sure, I never thought I would have an ounce of respect for Chuck Todd

yet here he is lambasting Trump and his surrogates. Corporate media will still be around without Trump and getting a fat paycheck. The GOP leans too hard on the corporate media for results, but they are people too. Add in that now Trump is going to war with the GOP 'traitors'.

Pence is a bigger threat then Trump imo, the corporate media would try and mold him into a perceived moderate. Cant do that with Trump he is a true firebrand.

the only positive outcome of his candidacy. This chops the GOP into roughly 3 pieces. The first piece is die-hards, will vote straight ticket. The second piece is moderates who will vote for down-ticket but not for Trump. And now this new third piece, which is angry fringe conservatives who will vote for Trump and no one else.

It's a perfect storm of electoral self-sabotage by a political party that is already dying.
