1. Just like the timing of the last two, Thursday late or Friday.

That is the smart timing. The opponent doesn't have time to challenge it before the weekend and the Sunday talk shows will have their subject. Oh, and the Clinton campaign IS smart. There will something even more damaging to Trump later this week.

3. The tapes are already being vetted by the media

That was hanging over everything last night. It was beyond obvious that the media on both sides, and both party's speakers know there is more video being released any day.

Pro Trump Mark Burnett threatened to sue, but hopefully somebody can offer to pay any penalties for the release of them.

7. They are already out there

There is simply no way to control every file, this is digital media now, it's getting sent around to dozens of different people, editors, producers, etc. And there are people with phones on the set. This video is impossible to keep private and there is literally hundreds of hours of it.

Burnett is not threatening to sue because he thinks he can keep this from leaking, he's threatening to sue because it's already out.

there were rumors of an Apprentice video where Trump used the N--- word, and others with him making vulgar comments about female contestants on the show.
