It was all he could do to keep his composure when the soldier spoke. Highly recommend everyone watch it on rerun or online.

You would be hard pressed to find a better example of the very best humanity has to offer. I am always in awe of him when he speaks, because even though you think you know what he will say, he finds a way to enlighten us by offering a perspective that catches us off guard, and that speaks to the very highest aspirations of what our nation hopes to be, both in the broader view and in the specific.

He is truly a national treasure.

the car at the camp entrance. That he could have asked another soldier to check it out, but did it himself. That many of his buddies plus civilians would have been killed but for Capt. Khan's action.
