I am always in awe of him when he speaks, because even though you think you know what he will say, he finds a way to enlighten us by offering a perspective that catches us off guard, and that speaks to the very highest aspirations of what our nation hopes to be, both in the broader view and in the specific.
He is truly a national treasure.
