Dozens of Allen West supporters abandoned their daylong vigil of watching ballots being counted at 10 p.m. on Saturday but vowed to return this morning, when the controversial recount will end and a winner will be decided in the hotly contested House District 18 race.

St. Lucie Canvassing Board member Tod Mowery told observers that they would have to clear out of the deserted shopping mall where the ballots were being counted because the mall’s security system would be triggered after 10:30 p.m.

..yet another faux republican outrage. Brings back memories of Bush v. Gore here in FLA, with the republicans chanting and banging on doors and acting like THEY were the victims. The statements by West's campaign continue to be hilariously hypocritical. Talking about fairness, and wanting all the votes counted, and the rule of law. Where were they when voter ID laws were being forced down our throats? Plus the rule of law is West is NOT entitled to any recount. They actually said tonight that this was a reminder of "dark times" in our nations' history when politicians tried to manipulate the law to suppress votes!!! Are they serious??? It's now the GOP who is being victimized??

There should be awards for best faux political outrage. Between Allen West and McCain with Benghazi there sure are some tragic performances lately.
