2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWe need to start fighting for Maine's 2nd congressional district. Trump could win it.
We need Hillary to get out there. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama too.
I am glad that Bernie Sanders was out there recently. But we need to do more.
The district is winnable...but it is also losable. And I don't want to lose it.

(11,607 posts)I am not sure I like the optics of Hillary campaigning in a blue state this late in the game, and it's only 1 vote. I am aware of the scenario where that 1 vote throws it to the House, but I think that scenario is less likely with New Hampshire looking more solid, if I recall correctly.

(2,056 posts)Because it has 38 electoral votes. Georgia has 16 electoral votes. I'd like to see them to put some time in Texas and Georgia because both could go blue this time, especially Texas since it borders Mexico and there are many Mexican Americans there. If Hillary wins Texas or maybe Georgia there is no way Trump can win.
