Texas and Arizona being competitive should send shock waves through the Republican hierarchy.

but, Texas is sort of like the Republican electoral version of California - big state, lots of electoral votes. Losing that is not only a landslide, but it has to shake them down to their cores.

for the whole state, I believe firmly, it is not. I see so many good, "Godly," Repubs (who willingly hire undocumented workers) with Trump/Pence in their front yard. Sorry, a Texas flip is a pipe dream...

Traditionally red, that is. Looks like she has a good chance in GA, AZ, UT, and now...TX. TEXAS! I've said all along that Texas was the only Trumpian state with significant electoral votes, but if he loses THAT.....

Can we use the L-word yet?

Any generic republican running against Hillary Clinton would run away with Texas. Trump specifically is a turn off, either not conservative enough or like we have surmised, not functionally capable of performing the duties of the office, a critique I have heard from some republicans here around San Antonio.
