How about a new progressive tv network to counter trump and murdoch

After hearing repeatedly about Donald's plans re Trump TV I was thinking isn't it about time there was a progressive tv network....worldwide

Obviously I have no money (have you seen the state of brexit sterling? ) it's really a muse. There are so many people with similar views at the mercy of RW media. What does the progressive movement have to help give context and inform people of similar or contrasting views? And giving positive advancements and news would be wonderful too

1. Freespeech TV already exists

channel 348 on Direct tv and 9415 on Dish or at www.freespeech.org.

I worked for about 10 years to try to get some interest in starting LPFM here. I gave up and others took up the battle.

I don't know why but owning media seems of little interest to many lefties.

We surely can't continue to hope the right (eg Comcast or clearchannel) continues to be nice.

I think it's been done. And it didn't do well.

7. There was Current for a brief and shining moment.

And MSNBC used to lean left. Not anymore!

FSTV is very good, especially Democracy Now.
