by Sam Reisman | 9:54 am, October 25th, 2016
With two weeks remaining until Election Day, Trump ally Rudy Giuliani went on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning to warn that the floundering campaign still had some cards left to play. When co-host Brian Kilmeade asked, Does Donald Trump plan anything except for a series of rallies?
Yes, the former NYC mayor responded, without elaboration.
When asked to clarify, Giuliani laughed and said, Youll see. We got a couple of surprises left. He continued: Surprises in the way that were going to campaign to get our message out there. Maybe in a little bit of a different way. Youll see. And I think it will be enormously effective.
He added that the revelations about Hillary Clinton were beginning to have an impact. Clinton leads Trump in RealClearPolitics averages of recent national and swing state polls.

Luckily, though, whatever it is, we are countering with the fleet of buses and all the people we're flooding Pennsylvania with to vote six times for dead people.
Take that, Rudy.

(12,046 posts)It seems like maybe someone should have thought about getting their "message out there" before October 25th.

(18,652 posts)people on DU are just getting riled about the Jane Doe rape allegations against Trump, which were filed 6/20/16. They are only just now reading the details from the court filings.

So it's taken more than a month for this to come to DU consciousness.
And, as another DUer pointed out, waiting until a substantial percentage of votes has already been cast for the "big reveal" only heightens the surprise.

(17,802 posts)they will tell you what it was AFTER the election, not before.
Only looooosers tell you their secret plans before they execute them. (sarcasm).
Look, in another week, 40% of the country will have already voted. Their just isn't enough time to swing the electorate. The secret is there is no secret, other than they don't want to let on they don't have a thing left.

More likely Yrump has him over the barrel - Rudy is so aligned with Trump that at this point he can't cut loose without actually looking worse. Trump does this regularly. He got the banks over the barrel with him and the media too for the last 18 months. Everyone wants their "Trump check" everyday and if one media outlet doesn't provide it the consumer will go somewhere else.
