Related: About this forumWhy is there radio silence from the Clinton campaign on this
I don't believe for a second that they are stunned by this development. As well planned as her campaign is they should have thought of this possibility

(9,148 posts)The statement came from the republicans, not the FBI.
Smells like last minute desperate dirty trickery..its how they've run this entire campaign since the first day.
Team Hillary was prepared then and they are prepared now. Trump & the RNC cannot stop her anymore. They know it.
And people just aren't listening to this redundant b.s. anymore. Its more of the same old news. They have moved on no matrer how frenzied the media spooks schreech.
VOTE!

(9,148 posts)1. FBI not reopening the investigation.
2. Comey legally had 2 inform Congress, because he testified they had finished reviewing evidence,

(16,104 posts)Comey has again crossed the line of neutrality.
What purpose is served at this time to make another unprecedented announcement days before the election? It can only be for political disruption.
And it better not be related to WikiLeaks releases.

(35,015 posts)The worst thing a campaign spokesperson could do it get out there an legitimize false information, get into a back and forth with a Trumpster.
It will die on it's own.

(19,569 posts)That's my guess. Which actually makes sense and coincides with what her campaign has said so far.
Going off without facts, like the media has, benefits no one here other than possibly Trump.
