OK, it's a strech but. . .

can the Hatch Act be used against Comey for these actions? Unless he comes up with something concrete?

He did use his position and he had to know if would have had an impact on the election (assuming Clinton loses).


So yes, it's a REAL stretch, but a possible one?

1. I would say releasing the letter isn't a violation, but if he delayed releasing it to the Dems then

I would think that goes to intent and he could be charged.

in the same letter. The chairs (Rs) were addressed in the first page, and the ranking members (Ds) were addressed on the second.

I tried to find a link showing an actual pic of the letter, because I saw one this a.m., but I can't remember the source. As you can see, the minority party members of the committees are addressed after the body of the letter. I guess that's the proper form for letters to Congress.
