I think Hillary is staying on course.
It's a shame it doesn't get covered more. She's talking specifically every day about what she'll do if she's elected. I agree she should stay on course. Keep talking about her specific plans that will benefit most Americans and like you say, the economy, inner cities, the midwest, women's rights etc.
Reid wrote that letter for whatever reasons. Trump isn't specific about what he'll do if he's elected, other than 'it will be great.' If he's in massive debt to Russian leaders and / or colluding with a government hostile to ours, that seems important.
