Someone explain to me why...

Obama would allow Comey to serve him? Sure he did what was right the first time, but you keep a snake around long enough and he is going to bite you! This was a big mistake by Obama! We should have a democrat running the FBI so this would never have happened.

the President is a good and honest man with faith in his fellow man. He wanted to have good competent government despite party. Unfortunately, the other side is ruthless and full of resentment that a black man is in charge. I applaud him for at least trying.....

Obama thought he couldn't get a democrat to pass confirmation so he put a republican in? It was an olive branch and a PR move. Ugh... these things always end badly

Call it naive if you want to, but he was trying to do what he promised to do: to be a President for everyone. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to put aside partisan interests for the good of the nation.
