5. No the "investigation" was 15 years ago and ended shortly after it started.

It's pretty obvious that the FBI is broken and needs some serious house cleaning. That should start with Comey's firing and followed by the termination of all agents that have a political ax to grind.

8. This is getting messed up.

Comey's letter release last Friday was bad. Suddenly dumping all of this other garbage a week before the election is even worse. I used to think that Comey was fairly decent (for a Republican) and didn't really mind that Obama appointed him to head the FBI. Turns out it was a really BAD idea and he is either sanctioning this or allowing it but either way, he needs to go, as well as the people who did the release!
