Looks like my original theory on James Comey is true.

James Comey was simply trying to cover his behind. He had to go public because it looks like the original GOP plan was for rogue FBI NY agents to leak this information to the public and say this is proof that Comey was hiding information for Hillary.

Some good positives about this is Hillary and Obama didn't take the bait. Had either of them reacted it would've made everything worst. I'm glad all of this is over now. But the damage is already done.

now we know there was nothing of consequence, therefore nothing should have been done just prior to the election.

he was worried some rogue fbi agents would break the law and policy by discussing an investigation, interfering with an election, and taking partisan action? one would expect a good leader to be able to control his people better than that, but if not, at least let them be the ones violating policy and laws.

this way it looks like he violated policy and possibly the law himself for nothing.

Comey was trying to throw the election as part of a conspiracy. He did what he could within the parameters of not getting jailed.

7. He's got to go. This business about having to put Republicans at the FBI is crazy.

Bill Clinton had a problem with the FBI under his appointee Louie Freeh. I'm sure there must be non-partisan and even Democratic law enforcement professionals to go in and drain that swamp. Republicans should not own the FBI.

to the rogue elements, and stated clearly to the media/congress that these were found on Weiner's laptop as part of an unrelated investigation and were likely duplicates.

The truth is that FBI/Comey are rightwing hacks who hate the Clintons, going back to the 90's.

What Comey/Rudy/Chaffetz/Kallstrom did is an egregious violation of the Hatch Act, and they must be held accountable, and the bureau purged of all rogue/partisan elements.
