I think Florida is close enough that Hillary may be able to win it on the strength of ground game and stacking up early votes vs. Trump's lack of ground game...

Of course if she can win it, the game is over. Trump has to have it, but she doesn't.

But of course the accepted wisdom in the media is that black folks will only come out to vote for a black man.

But is anyone surprised?

I wonder if Hispanics are going to bother to vote

Kornacki was at his map making his usual frantic waves, drawing circles and claiming AfAms weren't turning out and how bad that could all be for Clinton.

Surges in voters always favors democracy, democratic candidates. Keep it coming folks, but rest up. The next 24 - 36 hours are going to be exhausting.

the media bias is insane.

Here in Pinellas (St. Pete, Clearwater) the early voting is quite strong:

Party Breakdown by Voting Method
Last Updated: November 07 2016 05:40:43

Party Code Vote By Mail Early Vote Election Day Provisional Total
REP 93,587 27,000 0 0 120,587
DEM 90,205 30,738 0 0 120,943
OTH 51,683 20,428 0 0 72,111
Total 235,475 78,166 0 0 313,641

313,614 have voted out of about 648,000 registered, so about 50% have voted with one day of EV left before Tuesday. You can see it's really close with a slight edge to Democrats by Party. Of course, we hope that there are GRITS (girls raised in the South) and repubs who have jumped ship and voted for Hillary. Some early data suggest that's the case in FL. If so, Hillary is winning. Joe and Jill Biden have an appearance with Jimmy Buffet today in St. Pete.

... the proportion of the whole is more important because blacks only make up 10 - 15% of the state so if any of the other demos rose in early voting then black votes would definitely be lower if one were looking at the whole.

It's great news no matter what, but that's the line in a lot of stories comparing 2012 to 2016 regarding early voting.
