Roger Stone: Clinton more likely to face prosecution after recount
http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/roger-stone-clinton-prosecution-recount-231903
Petty much? Roger Stone, the Republican strategist and campaign confidant of Donald Trump, suggested Monday without evidence that Hillary Clinton is more likely to face prosecution under the president-elect’s administration because her campaign is cooperating with Jill Stein’s recount effort.
Again offering no evidence, Stone told Steve Malzberg that “we have to presume” that the money funding the Stein campaign’s call for a recount is from billionaire donor George Soros or from Clinton, who lost the White House to Trump this month in a major upset.

2. Roger Stone is the back door to Russian intelligence agents
The FBI should put him under oath and ask him if he knew anything about the Russian hacks of Democratic party computers and leaks to Wikileaks.

17. Put under oath...right after he is arrested on suspicion of treason
But that will never happen. Just like the DOJ will never investigate the inevitable crimes Trump will commit in office. Why? Because Putinites are in control of the FBI and Trump is Vlad's guy.

7. They never intended NOT to prosecute Clinton.
Specifically, PE Trump stated that he wasn't interested in prosecuting HRC but that doesn't preclude republicans such as Daryl Issa from hunting for *something* for the next four years. Even if Clinton were to withdraw from Stein's efforts, there would be investigations and hearings.

9. If they try to go after Hillary then the Democrats need to go after
Petreus. After all, he was involved in Benghazi, before, during and after the attack.
If Trump names Petreus to a high level job, the Democrats need to go after Petreus because he leaked classified documents to his mistress. You can probably find almost anything that Trump and his minions/masters will try to crucify Hillar (or any other democrat) and find a Republican/wing nut that has does the same thing. Turn about is fair play. The Democrats need to learn how to play the game, be willing to play the game and play it better. If the Republican lead Congress is not willing to hold hearings, the Democrats need to find a way to hold them anyway. They need to find friendly judges willing to grant them subpoenas when necessary. |

10. So double jeopardy?
So we plan to double jeopardy Petraeus? He's already been prosecuted and sentenced. I am pretty sure we can't just prosecute him again for the same thing.

11. Petreus has not been prosecuted for any actions
relating to Benghazi. How can they go after only Hillary if Petreus was also involved in Benghazi?
They also need to go after the Republicans because it was the Republicans who were responsible for reducing funding for security in US overseas embassies and consulates. Republicans who voted to reduce security funding are guilty of gross negligence because most people with common sense would realize that to do so would be to put our own people at risk. Democrats are horrible at getting out the true narrative of what has been going on. Republicans have been allowed far too much latitude in their actions with no consequences. If the Republicans and their minions/overlords have taught us one thing it is that the squeaky wheel gets the attention. There is some Republican (and I can't remember who) who wants to create a new era of Joseph McCarthy. The Democrats need to get out ahead of that and make it all about who is working for the Russians and other countries. Democrats need to literally hold a witch hunt to find out just who, on the other side, is in bed with the Russians and other foreign nationals. They need to get out their loud and strong and prevent the other side from turning it into a witch hunt against liberals, minorities, Muslims, and so on. It is time for the Democrats to get down into the trenches because they will need to fight a war in order to try to save this country. |

13. Yes he has
He plead guilty and accepted a plea bargain with the government. He was given probation. I believe it's over and he can't be prosecuted for the same thing again. Am I wrong here somehow?
I went back and researched. It appears he had a $40,000 fine which the judge upped to $100,000 and 2 years probation. |

16. He was charged with giving classified documents to his mistress.
That is not the same as any criminal activity regarding Benghazi. If the Rethugs are going to continue to after Hillar on Benghazi then he needs to be standing right next to her. He was involved with Benghazi prior, during and after the attack. This is a whole other issue then the one he did the plea agreement on. Apples to oranges.

22. My thoughts exactly.
How dare they threaten this bullshit! Let them try and then let's see who in the eyes of the World is better liked. Me thinks that Bill and Hillary might still have a little pull somewhere. It might even be those 2.5 million more voters that she got.
