for a lot of white folks in REFUSAL (because they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past the stage of denial) to either scapegoat POC and others on the grounds of

A) "Identity Politics" or

B) Those (relatively few) POC and LGBT that voted for a Ku Klux Klan-endorsed candidate.

Anything...ANYTHING but to blame the folks that look like (or may be) your parent, sibling, spouse, or neighbor

No one is saying that that there were not multiple factors that led to Clinton's loss...

But to pretend that "economic anxiety" is a sufficient reason for those that voted for man that campaigned on policies such mass deportation of Mexican immigrants, reviving stop and frisk, banning Muslims from entering the country; a man that received the endorsement of a white supremacist terrorist organization...to pretend that none of that even MATTERED or that wasn't a major part of his "sales pitch"...but..."economic anxiety"...as if other groups of people aren't going through economic anxiety.

whether it be racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia. They are all one of or all of those things. Simple as that.

is a vote for the creation of a new powerful populist 3rd party, whether you realize it or not

With the advance of technology, the 'proof of concept' of Trump's completely unconventional campaign style, I would not be shocked to see the rise of a 3rd populist party, somewhat libertarian on social issues but populist on economic ones. I think it could pull 1/4 of Democrats, 1/4 of Republicans, and 1/4 of Independents, giving it parity with other parties almost overnight. Please understand I'm not advocating such a thing, I'm stating that such a possibility is out there and must be considered, when assessing next elections.

I said that if you voted for Trump, you are at least racist enough so that you didn't give a damn about major parts of what he campaigned on.

For the most part, I don't have a beef with Stein and/or Johnson voters
