Anybody notice a lack of enthusiasm by Trumpanzees on Facebook?

My "friends" seem like they've all shut up in the last few weeks. Buyers' remorse? Embarrassment?

I even tracked down a few that I un-followed on Facebook because of their rabid trumpiness. And they've even shut up. Hell, I haven't even seen the annual war on Xmas memes.

Is it just me?

think the Trumpeters would be singing their furors praises and giving high fives for how he is "draining the swamp". But they are pretty quiet. They should be on their knees asking for forgiveness for putting America on this dangerous and dark path.

according the the right wing media. Xtians won.

Second, the feeling seems to be "He is shaking things up, give him a chance!"

Sort of the same thing the Germans said about Hitler when he annexed the Sudetenland and then Austria.

Even some Republicans are acting like his Taiwan call is either "no big deal" or a brave new strategy depending on who you ask and whether or not you believe that Trump is capable of developing actual "strategy". You know, (nuclear) war with another major country like would really "shake things up" too.

The ones I kept are those that didn't post things anyway, BUT 1 is openly posting breitbart "news". I pointed out one thing he posted was a misleading headline due to wording that meant the exact opposite of what we would think. He said nothing.

trumpistas from my list, cause I'm very curious about how they're feeling about their boy now. I got into some days' long wars right after the election, and I just had to let them go cause I couldn't take any more of the stupid. But I'd love to know how they feel about him now! Id be thrilled if just ONE of them proved smart enough to see the light - and admit it. It'd go a long way to restoring my ability to feel hopeful about our future.

i haven't noticed any pro trump from the couple of people i used to see them from (don't have a lot of friends who cheered him on)

but i'm thinking, perhaps another reason for this is that they seem to have a short attention span

(and funny you mention war on xmas--just the other day i was just thinking that i haven't seen a thing about it)

I've noticed that some of my friends who were kind of silent during the election have finally gotten very vocal with Trump's cabinet picks.

The ones still on my social media feeds have gone from insufferably bombastic - as if their favorite football team just won a big game - back to what they were under that scary Obama. They've had so much shit rightfully flung at them from so many directions after helping to elect that embarrassment that they're defensive. They're back to crying about how they are so aggrieved and treated so unfairly. Because, you know, affluent white christians have had it so rough here in the US.

Basically, it seems like they're mimicking their messiah by coming out bullying and then whimpering like freaking cowards when beaten back with facts and tweets from King Orange the Stupid.

I've been asking them when they decided that they owed more allegiance to Russia than the US in recent days. Lots of whining in the few responses I've actually received.

Fuck them.
