Trump is threatening their careers, and the deplorables
are sending them death threats.

People who think the EC are going to overturn this thing are setting themselves up for some major disappointment and more outrage.

Idiots are going to install Trump because they are stupidly wanting the GOP in total control even though it would not be in control at all.

... metaphorically speaking of course.

One of the reasons why HAVE an electorate is to make sure foreign actors haven't interfered with our election !!!

....for not rocking the boat.

The people who become electors are local party activists who've worked their way up. They are loyal to their respective parties.

I am watching developments with interest, but not with a lot of hope.

Sorry to be so harsh, but does anyone seriously believe that Nancy Pelosi's daughter has for one millisecond entertained the though of casting her electoral college vote for Donald Trump and that she needs to review the information about the Russian hacking to decide whether or not to do so?

It's silly, but not funny.

For example, as of 2014, New York provided for a payment of $15 per day to electors. That's the same amount that was established in 1976 and its tradition in New York for electors to donate their compensation to charity.

In Virginia, under the law in effect in 2016, electors are paid fifty dollars per day while actually engaged in the discharge of their official duties.

this will change anything. the orange shitgibbon got the votes in the right place (or, at least, it looks that way) and these people are picked because they are stalwart party members. He'll get the 270 he needs.

But, it sure would be nice if he didn't. And, it's fun to speculate.

However, either way, this country is standing on the verge of major conflict. If the EC denies the god emperor, his minions will declare war on this country. And, if he gets the EC... his minions will declare war on this country.
