Everybody is "racial," i.e., they belong to a race or races. Not everybody is racist, but it certainly appears the GOP candidates are.

But to answer your question, the GOP doesn't want non-racist candidates because their base is racist.

Those with any sense can see that the Republican Party has gone over the edge. The Oligarch-Elites love it. Now only one party to corrupt. They never liked the two party system.

Now we have the Left out in the wind with no party, a huge "centrist Party" and a wacko Republican Party.

And they're much more influential than they should be in this run for the White House.

The Republicans have created a hate filled Frankenstein monster by throwing everything they have at Obama, and now they have to finish the walk down the aisle with it.

I am yet to meet a conservative who isn't a racist. If being a racist were a crime, Alabama's prisons would be overflowing with right wingers.

They probably could find one if they were, but appealing to racists is part of their strategy (as is appealing to sexists, xenophobes, homophobes, etc.).
