4. They expect high Democratic turnout on primary day because of the Democrats running for Gov.

If there is only 1 Democrat running in the recall of one of the legislators, then the recall election happens on primary day. If there's more than 1 Democrat, the recall happens after primary day.

They don't want the Republican legislators facing recall to have to win on a day when a ton of Democrats turn out to vote.
