The Republicans are driving with a blindfold and have just stepped on the gas

At Fox –they rehired Karl Rove for four more years and fired Palin, in the Senate they stood all over Susan Rice and were disrespectful of Secretary Clinton and accused her of faking illness, they have stood against any reasonable attempt to respond to Sandy Hook, they hung up the funding for hurricane damage.
There is not a cohesive leadership strategy amongst them. It does not upset me, it only astounds me that they refuse to change, admit any faults. I don’t see any of them recognizing their problem with women, Blacks and Latinos. Keep up the good work boys. If you’re lost just drive faster.

republicans have no cohesive strategy for governing. I find it despicable, but I believe their 'strategy' is to mess things up as much as possible. Their rabid base thinks that's funny. They hate government of all forms, apparently. They sure are naive though, because even their beloved gop can't stop progress from happening. And it's been entirely unsuccessful on 'social issues'.

I'm hoping more people who think government can be a force for good will abandon the destructive republican party.

I'm hoping democrats stay as progressive as possible. I always vote for the most progressive person on my ballot in primaries. I never vote republican.

Welcome here. Have fun!
