You might not have heard of New Jersey state Sen. Barbara Buono, though you've probably heard of the man she's itching to take on in the November election Gov. Chris Christie.
Expect to hear more about her. Buono picked up key endorsements Tuesday and sewed up enough support statewide to become the Democrats' presumptive nominee for governor.

(6,336 posts)I'll be able to tell you more once I go to Buono's campaign kickoff on Saturday.
She needs to use the following line to bring him down. "A noun, a verb, and Sandy."

(2,117 posts)I expect that Christie will easily be reelected. I would have expected this pre-Sandy, but I believe his handling of the disaster was about as good as you can ask from any Governor and I'm sure that convinced a lot of the more moderate Democrats in the state to vote for him. I hope Buono can defeat him, but I won't get too optimistic.
