(12,606 posts)There's plenty of people who experience real pain every day that take it and then some.
But hey, they're rich beyond the dreams of most people. They feel pain more distinctly than the average Joe.
If there were any reason to dislike the (R)monies more it is crap like this. Grow up.

(2,500 posts)some temporary respite. Just a snap of the fingers, or ring of the bell. I'm not sure how she summons them. Chris would probably be gratified to summons them for her between wipes of the tears.

(24,287 posts)I have lots of real problems, like trying to eke out a living the last four years because the jobs have all but evaporated. I just can't feel sorry that some entitled person lost the grandest prize of all. It was all an ego trip. She didn't give a damn about anyone below her social stratosphere ('you people')--it was pretty obvious.
Poor little rich girl, but my heart ain't breaking. Get a life, why doesn't she?

(12,691 posts)She should think about all the people in the U.S., just with her disease of MS, and think about how they're not wealthy like her, and can't afford proper treatment, since we don't have health care as a basic human right in this country.
STFU, Ann.

(28,455 posts)They have been able to buy just about anything they've wanted. That combined with her obvious sense of entitlement must have really brought out a lot of emotions. I suspect she's angry and resentful and feels very very wronged.

(3,502 posts)Her abilitly to hit just the wrong note would not have made her popular, I'd bet. She didn't show any ability to stand up to the pressure, and even the FLOTUS is under constant scrutiny and pressure. She should just be grateful and maybe STFU.

Of the 60 million votes or so that mittens got, at least half of them were stupid racists voting against Obama and despised the rmoney's as much as we do.

(3,003 posts)Of COURSE the losing candidate's wife feels sadness after a loss. Kitty Dukakis was so depressed after her husband's defeat in '88 that she had to go into rehab for 30 days after she drank rubbing alcohol!

(291 posts)She's not the strongest person I've ever seen. She was cracking under the pressure of the campaign - the constant criticism her husband would have received as president would have sent her over the edge.
She's exactly where she should be - away from the public pressure and out of sight from the rest of us.
But.. hhahahahahhahhahahhahahahahha she's not over it after 4 months or so.

(12,504 posts)Ann gets to rub shoulders with the elite, she has an elite lifestyle and wants for nothing...EVER. Yet, she has found something else to covet, something that is out of her reach. The Winter of her Discontent is summed up easily, "she wants more, she wants more". She wants ultimate power and fame and she wants it now.....and as the faithful helpmeet that she is, it would have come through a Mitt Presidency. She is having a hard time finally admitting that money can't actually buy her everything her heart desires.

(489 posts)Not just that the 1 percent's First Lady is still feeling the pain while walking on her private beach, but that Willard and Company have totally deluded themselves on why he lost. Liberal media, Obama played dirty, Obama had more time and money to prepare, blah, blah blahbidy blah ...
As long as these Republican fools refuse to recognize the obvious - that they have a true disconnect with lots and lots and lots of Americans - they won't work to correct a fatal flaw. And the longer they delude themselves, the better it is for us and the country.
