Well that was interesting. Went to a Town Hall meeting with Rep Cory Gardner (CO4) whose district I'm in. It went something like this:

A bunch of angry old white guys yelling: rabble rabble REPEAL OBAMACARE rabble rabble FAKE BIRTH CERTIFICATE rabble rabble MICHELLE BACHMAN IS THE ONLY SANE POLITICIAN rabble rabble CUT SERVICES rabble rabble DEFEND OUR BORDER rabble rabble GET RID OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS rabble rabble CUT BUSINESS TAXES AND REGULATIONS rabble rabble POLICE STATE rabble rabble DON'T CUT FUNDING TO THE MILITARY rabble rabble NO PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP rabble rabble.

We used to be in beautiful blue Jared Polis' district. And then we got gerrymandered out of it

Thankfully, Fort Collins is now in Polis' district, and I'm in Denver right now, in DeGette's district.

One time when I saw Cory Gardner in person, his talking point he was pushing in his little Powerpoint presentation was that those Democrats didn't have a budget - didn't have a plan - only the Republicans had a plan. I raised my hand, and asked him what he thought of the Progressive Caucus's People's Budget. He then turned around and said "Oh, I voted against that."
