Heritage Claims Immigration Reform Will Cost $6.3 Trillion, Sparking Conservative Civil War

BENJY SARLIN MAY 6, 2013, 1:15 PM

The conservative Heritage Foundation is launching a new campaign to sink immigration reform by claiming it will explode the deficit thanks to increased social services for undocumented immigrants.

On Monday, the think tank debuted a new study by Robert Rector and Jason Richwine claiming the bill would cost $6.3 trillion over the lifetime of the 11 million undocumented immigrants who could potentially gain legal status through bipartisan legislation under consideration in the Senate.
“We contend … that amnesty is unfair to those who come here lawfully and those who are waiting, it will cost the American taxpayer trillions of dollars over the next several decades, and it will make our immigration problems worse,” Heritage president Jim DeMint said at a press conference debuting the study.

The core of the study is its claim that undocumented immigrants, because they are disproportionately less educated and wealthy, will prove a net drain on various benefits aimed at combatting poverty.

strategically ignores the ALEC and Republican impact on certain states that enacts policies that will assure that their constituents will be disproportionately less educated and wealthy. Thus, assuring them that said constituents will be certain that they are, and will be, better educated and are more wealthy with a good sense that they will grasp that carrot being held out for them on the stick in order to get servile support and votes.

And just what would the logistics of this Civil War be? Really. Rural vs. city? Internet marauders ducking it out on forums? Maybe, ALEC, the video game where you can form clans and fight the liberals online in a MMORPG?

Did they think this rabble-rousing, (to get attention and build some more base base) through or is it merely another, typical tactic of the ruthless psychopathic affluence club again? Maybe Martial Law is a great way to promote freedom, (slavery) and justice, (for some)?

Well, I'm joining the Church of the Face Palm because we didn't even get to try civilization yet and the alien experiment is really going South. Not like this is anything new, except for the technology that accompanies it and the implications of that.

I teach ESL at a community college, we have a lot of undocumented students. The majority of these do not sneak across the border. Most come across with a student visa or tourist visa, it much easier, safer, and cheaper. So posting the whole US Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corp, plus right wing militias is not going to stop illegal immigration.

To get a tourist visa, all you need is to flash some cash to the US consulate in your area to prove that you have the means to travel and stay in this country. People borrow the money from lenders whose whole purpose is to let you have the money for a few hours while, you flash the cash, then on the way out from the consulate you give the money back plus a fee. Then you can come over and stay. You can have a friend or relative that is going back to drop off the visas on their way out of the country. It is a box, similar to a mail box. That's the way is is done.

I should make a documentary, and follow a family across to prove my point.
