Are you f#cking kidding me?: Benghazi

For the love of god Media, drop Benghazi already. You'd think Obama stormed in with the rest of the white house staffers and killed the 4 Americans themselves with the amount this has been covered (now THAT would be a story). Seriously, we have a million problems in this country and a good 20-40% of our congress (and apparently 100% of our media) is trying wasting their time defaming the White House for saying they didn't have enough information to make a statement of fault within the first few days. Sure, Obama won because of this cover up (it had nothing to do with the piss-poor candidates the republicans threw out there). Even if that was the case, if the American people are so fucking stupid to change their vote based on the Obama administration stating they didn't have enough information to make a decisive comment fast enough then they deserve to have the other candidate.

In the 8 months or so since the attack on 9/11/12:
- There have been 100+ servicemen who have died in the Iraq/Afghanistan conflicts (but who cares about that right?)
- Some sick fuck waxed a classroom full of children (and not SHIT has been done about it)
- Our federal government hasn't passed a single, I repeat a SINGLE FUCKING LAW to help curb gun violence even with overwhelming proof that such laws have helped other countries; basically spitting on the family and friends of Newtown. (Yes, some local laws, but not federal. Even local laws have tried to GIVE more gun rights... because apparently there are not enough of those at the moment.)
- There has likely been over 8000+ murders (yes, not only Jodi Arias is a killer in this country)
- Over 50,000 charged cases of rape (and potentially over 200,000 total cases as rape isn't taken seriously in this country)
- Been over 800,000 violent crimes
- Over 200,000 have been injured and over 7000 have died due to drunk driving (yet how many from Marijuana... nvm a tangent)
- The news has started to glorify mass killings and the government doesn't do shit about it so there has been more and more of them of late (ok, speculation, but really I remember feeling surprised at VTech but
- In fact, the federal government hasn't gotten shit done since then. Or since 2010 or so. Other than sabotaging the rest of us.

You can blame the Republicans for not voting on more money for the embassies. You can blame the White House for not giving the consulate more security. In the end, the blame lies 100% on one group of people, and that's the people who stormed the compound and those who funded them. Indirectly the blame can be placed on our country for fucking with that region in general. I mean, if people from the middle east were caught doing stuff in the US, would we retaliate? (100k to 1m + dead in Iraq/Afghanistan later... no stats for this one, as no one seems to fucking care about people from the middle east either)

Instead of trying to find someone to blame for the problem, we should find the solution. And we should do it together. Imagine what we could do. Seriously, think about it. Maybe in Boston finding the Bombers is a case where finding the source of blame is also a solution (to prevent more violence) but other than cases like that has blame ever fixed the issues? We can blame GWB all we want for Iraq, but Obama solved the issue and ended the war. More solutions!

I apologize for the swearing, but I'm not a happy camper.

Rolls off the tongue, really.

The media is controlled by a few big money people and they love seeing Obama squirm. They finally found something their peons in congress can kibbutz about, so here we go.

This will be a test for Obama.

Clinton failed his media test and got slammed. What will Obama do?

The point I think he was trying to make was that Obama has to deal with the media, which has a lot more pull given the bias coverage (which we all know to be very true). When Clinton went through the several investigations and then the impeachment, the media was not near as strong as it is now. The internet was still in its infancy and 24 hour news coverage had only begun to take shape. The right wing media has become more vitriolic over the years as well.

Not his fault for any of this. If anything he's been in favor of isolating us from the middle east (ending wars, staying out of fairly vicious conflicts). You'd figure they'd not do things like this as a result.
