I don't get how these repugs figure out a way in their conscience to defend the outrageous stances and statements of some of their candidates.

The Lt. Gov. candidate, E.W. Jackson, said that liberals have hurt black people more than the KKK ever did (I paraphrased, what he actually said was worse but I don't have the exact words). He also used the word "ikky" in talking about Gay Pride week.

Is it just me? I just couldn't associate myself with this. I don't know how Tara Wall and others like her hang in there and defend or try to overlook this stuff.

I couldn't do it.
