Can't stand Roberts

Let's see, according to Roberts, because minority voting is up in states previously sanctioned by Section 4 and 5 of the VRA it is now time to to toss the issue back to Congress for a redo (which won't happen).

According to Robert's logic airbags and seat belts should not be installed in vehicles because far too many people have been saved by them and big auto companies should not be required to install them anymore. It is a burden you know.

The true Rethug logic here is they will use the Supreme Court as the last ditch obstacle to prevent the changing demographics of our country from swinging elections to Democrats and away from the Teabaggers.

Bush V. Gore was the early roll out of this strategy.

The only way to change the Supreme Court is to vote Democratic in every election (particularly, presidential and senatorial ones!).

We are stuck with him for another 20 years, at least. That was Shrub's plan all along. Unfortunately.

There is a coterie of Caucasian men who are very alarmed at the projection that white people may very well be a minority in this Country by 2050. They will do whatever they can to stop that. One of the ways to do so is to make sure women can no longer have abortions or practice birth control. They want as many white babies born here as humanly possible, and if they have to camouflage this effort under the guise of moral objections to aborting all human life, so be it.

In case you think I might be going over the cliff here, I would like you to know I heard Pat Buchanan admit this in one of those unfortunate open mike situations on the original Crossfire. I was shocked. I still am.

Sam
