But given everything that he's had to deal with during these past 4.5 years, I'd place him somewhere in the top 20 for sure.

We need to do something.
Seriously, we need to do something.
Some of us are screwing around but, we need to do something.
Here are some extra problems, but first, we need to do something.
I'll step up and work hard because, we need to do something.

I hope he understands "rebuild the middle class"="Halt the abuses by the upper class"; I suppose he does. Just wish he'd actually say it.

Frankly, I can no longer stand to listen to him because the words ring so hollow. Vacuous, empty suit

Jul 2013

right off the starting blocks---signed the Lilly Ledbetter act
led the way on gay marriage---first pres to do so
bin laden---yup
Obamacare
a hug for Sandra Fluke
and on appointments-----there is no history of anyone being held up on their appointments like him----Reid has to threaten a nuclear option to break the stonewalling----McCain has to do an end run on McConnell to get things through

There is only one reason for this ----and it is pure , unadulterated RACISM---but time will tell and history will judge this man for doing more to free us from our maladies than any other---all of the racial stereotypes will be invalid----because of him-----the scandals are baseless------

and the big one OBAMACARE will be a major point of light for him

I am just shooting from the hip---if we dig into it this is a rare president-------when the right wing is screaming crazy stuff ----this guy remains PRESIDENTIAL-----when you consider the stumbling blocks he has had to face he is even greater----
and as far as the vacuous, empty suit----who is your fav that can outshine Barack

The New Deal, the New Frontier and Great Society were more than speeches. We continue to reap the benefits of SS, Glass-Steagall (until DLCer Clinton!), the space program's scientific innovation/exploration, Civil Rights (and Voting Rights), Medicare...

Had Johnson not wished to be the first president to lose a war and followed his gut rather than the generals, he'd be remembered as an even greater POTUS because his Great Society programs would not have been eclipsed by the Vietnam War.

Obama's crap is incremental and he is spineless against Wall Street and Repukes. The ACA is not about health care but rather health insurance... big difference!

I won't even bother mentioning Rahm, Summers, GE Jeff Inmelt, Arne, Simpson-Bowles...

Spare me... words!

and I agree with you about FDR----but he had an overwhelming majority support in both the Senate and House------and he like JFK came from wealth and power------he also had 12 years of Presidency----OH yeah----and they were all--- WHITE ---a fact that in this country during those times ---and even now-----is a HUGH help------so let's give Obama ---a third term----and an extremely cooperative house and senate--
an earlier life of wealth------a few times fewer of suffering racial hatred------and I'll put Mr. Obama in the ring with any ----or all---of them

and lest we forget about LBJ----Viet Nam

He needs to learn how to handle the GOP "no Sayers" and bury them on one policy issue that really helps the average American. A jobs bill for an example.

a lot of people were upset with Obama during the Debates-----when he seemed to let Romney roll over him----he was sizing up the opponent -----and , if you remember, ---in the final debate he was saying "Continue Governor" to get Romney to say things he would later be sorry for -----and was off script-------what I think is that we have not yet seen his finest moment-------and this is not only about him----he realizes that he has an obligation to pave the way even more for the disenfranchised in this country----I am surprised by the number of detractors he has on THIS site--------it's been a long time comin' guys------the groundwork for Hillary is being laid out today while he meets with her for lunch-----they are cooking up a 2014 mid term-----he needs it----she needs it--these are two of the brightest political people in the history of our country-----and one of them beat the other before----now we have two world class contenders on the same side----watch out you Senators and Congressmen who block up the halls-----watch them be lured into a corner in the next two years-----it is not good karma for me to derive such pleasure from their failings-----but what are my options?
