That was then. This is now. To progress from then to a more humanitarian stance now, is what we should all strive for.
We can't change what happened back then, no matter how horrendously evil. But we can decide to not do the same today and condemn what did happen.

International law does not prohibit the use of napalm or other incendiaries against military targets,[21] but use against civilian populations was banned by the United Nations Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) in 1980.[22]

My sense of urgency was predicated on the fact that the story first appeared in the “Latest Breaking”
section...I guess I learned a lesson..

And regardless of what it is or when it was filmed, dropped more and more lethal bombs is only going to create more video opportunities.

It's like pouring gasoline on a fire.
