This new attempt by the House to shut down the ACA..

Reminds me so much of the scene where there was so much jubilance by Southerners when it was announce that there was going to be a war. ..........Gone With The Wind....

These fucking idiots think it is really a cool thing and in fact if they could, would probably be running around the Capital waving confederate flags..

We’re all gonna get hurt in in one way or another ... but we have got to bite the bullet in order to protect our country from these lunatics..

I thought of the same thing you did, the heady excitement over something they thought was going to be seen as gloriously heroic ending up pissing off a lot of people they should never piss off and the architects of the shutdown having their congressional careers cut very short.

Now they want to repeat those glory days. Like constipation, these too shall pass. They'll be defeated at home or ousted over the ethics violations no Republican can seem to avoid.

When people get hurt by something, they retaliate. Republicans never seem to remember that.

I am sure Obama has had a chance to discuss strategy with the former President. Should be interesting to watch.

Like I think they would all like it all to end in their newly constructed bunkers in the back yard.
