(54,370 posts)Even a few molecules of poisoned air can spread out where there's a vacuum, and the Republican Party has no voice they follow right now. I doubt they will be following Cruz for too much longer, either. The Kochs may find him useful for the moment, but even the Kochs know he is not electable beyond his current seat in Texas, and, if Wendy Davis can manage to grab the governor's seat in Austin, he may not be looking at a second term in the Senate either.
If a respectable voice is left in the Republican Party and it can be found, they will leave Cruz and the Teabaggers behind as so much roadkill.

(15,071 posts)in the US might reject the two in a presidential election, the GOP base loves them and would turn out for them (along with the media).
